Tired of boring safety videos? Discover how TADApix uses characters, humor, and storytelling to boost engagement and retention with animated safety videos.
Let’s be real, most safety training videos are painfully boring.
Monotone narration, outdated visuals, and painfully long runtime. In an era where everyone scrolls past anything dull in under 2 seconds, traditional safety content just doesn’t cut it anymore. Platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok have raised the bar. People are used to fast-paced, visually fun, and emotionally resonant content, and that includes your workforce.
So why are we still putting them through VHS-era videos?
At TADApix, we believe safety training should not feel like a punishment. It should be engaging, memorable, and maybe even, dare we say…. fun.
It’s Not Just Animation… It’s Personality
What sets our work apart isn’t just smooth motion graphics or bright colors. It’s the personality we build into every frame.
Sam Yousefian, our founder and creative director, leads the charge. He and the team spend real time crafting on-brand animated characters that feel like they belong in your company culture. Whether it’s a quirky coworker, a talking Jo Louis, or a rockin’ air conditioner, our characters aren’t stock cutouts, they’re custom-built personalities designed to resonate with your actual workers in your Animated Safety Videos.
And often? Sam voices them himself. With humor, nuance, and unexpected quirks, he turns what could be dry instruction into relatable, human storytelling.
Example: Sal & Bosco Safety Intro for Boeing – Animated Safety Videos
When Boeing needed an engaging, branded safety intro video, we brought in two unforgettable characters: Sal and Bosco.
Sal is the bubbly, upbeat Safety Attribute Leader. She’s bright, joyful, and full of energy, always ready with the right answer and a smile. Whether it’s PPE, protocols, or reminding someone why we don’t ride the rolling chairs, Sal brings clarity and warmth to every scene.
Then there’s Bosco, Boeing’s seasoned Safety Compliance Officer. He’s well-meaning and experienced, but a bit slower on the uptake. Bosco occasionally misses the point, or the joke, and often needs a gentle nudge (or a full-on save) from Sal to stay on track.
With personality-packed performances, including Bosco voiced by our founder Sam Yousefian, Sal and Bosco show how safety can be serious without being boring.
Example: Hyundai Glovis – Safety with a Spark
For Hyundai Glovis, safety orientation isn’t just a requirement, it’s a chance to make a strong first impression. That’s why they partnered with us to create a custom animated training module that’s informative, engaging, and uniquely branded.
At the center of it all is Glow, a warm, friendly talking Hyundai vehicle who guides new employees through essential safety topics with clarity and charm. Voiced by Sam Yousefian, Glow brings a sense of calm authority and personality that makes the material approachable and easy to follow.

One of the standout features is the interactive knowledge check, modeled after the game show Family Feud. Employees are encouraged to guess the top answers on the board to common safety questions, turning what could be a dry review session into a memorable group activity. It’s fun, effective, and a clever way to reinforce key takeaways.
We designed the content to:
Ensure the information is clear, compliant, and engaging
Reflect Hyundai Glovis’s real-world logistics environment
Keep the tone consistent with their brand voice
Why Animated Safety Videos Work
According to the Journal of Visual Literacy, people remember 65% of visually presented content after three days, compared to just 10% of text-based instruction. Engaging video training also improves knowledge retention by up to 83% over static slide presentations.
In other words: the more fun it is, the more it sticks.
If your team zones out during safety meetings, it’s time to rethink your approach. With TADApix, your safety content becomes a culture-builder, not a compliance chore.
