The Challenge: Gain Better Banking wanted to attract younger, tech-savvy members by highlighting their advanced online banking capabilities. The challenge was communicating sophisticated features (financial account aggregation, co-browsing chat, instant digital card delivery, Zelle integration) without sounding like a boring list of technical specifications. They needed a promotional video that felt fresh, memorable, and shareable on social media while still conveying the real benefits of their digital platform.
The Solution: We designed a 70-second motion graphics video for credit unions with a distinctive retro-futuristic aesthetic. Think mid-century modern meets space age. Starburst patterns, stylized control panels, and retro characters combined with clean, modern UI demonstrations. The visual style says “advanced technology” without feeling cold or intimidating. Friendly, slightly formal announcer-style voiceover guides viewers through each feature, emphasizing speed, security, and convenience.

Digital Card Delivery (Mastercard): The video concludes with instant digital card delivery. Member applies for a card, gets approved, and immediately receives a digital card in the app ready to use for online purchases while waiting for the physical card to arrive in the mail. Animation shows the card materializing on screen with a satisfying visual flourish.
