This whiteboard animation turns the KVC Health Systems 2016 impact report into a story donors and partners can feel. Instead of a page of statistics, it shows how a nonprofit devoted to children, adults, and families reached more than 61,000 people in a single year.

About This Nonprofit Impact Video
The Challenge: KVC Health Systems needed to share a year of results with donors, partners, and community stakeholders in a way that felt human, not like an annual report. Big numbers can impress, but on their own they rarely move people to keep giving and get involved.
The Solution: We built a warm whiteboard animation that walks through KVC’s mission and its 2016 impact one story at a time. Hand-drawn line art and paper cutouts in KVC’s green and teal palette keep the tone hopeful, while each figure is tied to the people behind it, families kept together, children adopted, and youth supported through behavioral healthcare.
The Result: A shareable impact story that turns a fiscal-year summary into a reason to care, ready for a website, a donor event, or a year-end campaign.
What the 2016 Impact Report Covers
- Over 61,000 people directly served across KVC’s programs in the 2016 fiscal year.
- 6,184 families helped to stay safely together, by preventing foster care or safely reuniting families.
- 442 children matched with adoptive families, part of 3,385 adoptions across KVC’s history.
- 6,319 children supported in caring relative or foster families, and 21,674 children and adults reached with in-home support.
- 3,492 youth and adults treated at KVC psychiatric hospitals, plus a new KVC Institute training leaders from 4 countries and 13 U.S. states.

Why Whiteboard Animation Works for Impact Reports
Nonprofit results are easy to admire and easy to forget. A wall of numbers tells people the work matters, but it rarely makes them feel it, and feeling is what drives giving.
Whiteboard animation solves that by drawing each idea as it is spoken, so the viewer builds the story alongside the narrator. The same craft goes into our 2D animation work for other mission-driven organizations, where warmth and clarity matter as much as the data.
Because the video is short and self-contained, it works on a homepage, at a fundraising event, and in a year-end appeal, giving a nonprofit one asset that keeps telling its story.
